Virginia PaakspuuHappy Homes was the best place for me and my husband to stay in Saigon/HoChiMinh — we stayed at 2 other places and they were terrible, and around the same price (maybe only $1 or $2 cheaper), but paying the extra dollar or 2 was totally worth it. I felt always very safe, 24 hour security guard who was so friendly and helpful, a great place to park your motor for free, and the security guard would always help to put the bike and take it out for you.
A nice strong gate to protect the property, and lots of great “REAL” local restaurants just steps away — also so many 7-11-type stores near-by to get things western people like to have.
The place was very clean — we were on the 5th floor and even had an elevator!! That is rare in Saigon!! Whenever I visit Ho Chi Minh/Saigon, I want to stay here — great wifi, super clean, and very friendly staff. Although I recommend you take a taxi to get there the first time, as googlemaps doesn’t work so well in Ho Chi Minh! Every day when you go outside, you see locals — if you want to go to the tourist areas they are very close by, but its so nice to stay in a place where you are not bombarded with people trying to sell you things. Very peaceful, safe, and comfortable. Great for long or short-term!

Alexandre FranzEverytime I travel in HCMC I stay in Miss Loi Guesthouse. I always have a wonderful time there. The staff is very friendly, welcoming and always willing to help me for any issue. The room is clean, spacious and the Guesthouse is very well located in 1st District (not far from Ben Thanh Market and Notre Dame cathedral). I highly recommend this place for all those who are looking for an affordable room, good quality service and good location.
