I have been living in different Happy Homes apartments for years and that is no accident. They respond to issues promptly and provide a safe, clean and wonderful place to live at bargain rates considering where the locations are. Security is great and there is no risk of anything shady happening ever, laundry service is fine and the walls are thick so you don’t have to worry about to much noise. Parking is a breeze and the internet is usually quick.

The other day I got a Linkedin invitation to connect with a young woman who works at the front desk at HappyHomes, the place where I am staying.
I have no idea how she found me but I immediately accepted and told Vy that I would be happy to practice English if she would like that.
Today was our first lesson in the HappyHomes courtyard.
When I first met her a few weeks ago she seemed shy about her English.
Quiet and shy.
Today we practiced a few exercises from her university English text.
It was great fun. She gave it her all.
Vy was born in Phan Theit, a coastal city four hours east of HCMC.
She is 22 and in her final year at the University of Economics in Ho Chi Minh City.
She has a sweet smile and a determination to improve her English.
We will practice again Friday.
